watch him back he's my friend - (the only one i have that uses da) and even if he makes me feel ill pulling funny faces when he pulls small girls at school
Thank you for your kind words, you too clearly have an impressive gallery.
I do already have a relatively old camera (although i personally define anything thats more than like 5 years obsolete, old), a canon eos 3000d (i think its that anyway, but its a 1980's (i think) 35mm film camera, as well as another canon eos that my mum owns that is even older...) My manual skills are pretty good.
It does indeed work very well. Your gallery is very impressive (:
You don't have to even consider doing this, but I'm going to throw it out there anyway: go to a local camera shop that sells used cameras and buy an old, all-manual, film SLR or rangefinder. It may sound crazy to go backwards with technology, but it sharpens your manual skills. When you master the manual setting on your automatic camera, you can do anything. Perfectly-metered shots look nice, but sometimes a photo which was pushed a couple of stops down/up looks much better
thats for studio shots, tripod shots or if your spending a long time trying to perfect a photo. That makes up a huge part of photographer, but an even bigger part is being in the right place at the right time, seeing the right thing and doing the right thing.
Thats what candid shots are, thats what photojournalism is, thats what a huge part of photography is.
With me, the auto function almost always suffices and excels beyond what i need.
I never said luck wasn't involved; luck is a major factor in many photos. Getting the perfect photo is hard, because you must think about shutter speed, aperture, film ISO, light, composition, how much time you have to take the shot, ect. ect. ect.
please remove that image you faved on YBa and fave the original - link is in the description of the image you faved- please read the big bold and underlined words in each description next time please.
